Juan R. Meléndez

Juan R. Meléndez is the Managing Director for Business Development American Systems with primary experience in Puerto Rico and the SFL US market.  His major accomplishments are in developing new business / consulting practices inside the Big 4 environment (Andersen & KPMG-PR) and most recently American Systems. In Puerto Rico Juan has successfully assisted clients in the development of complex IT solutions including Information Assurance, Business Intelligence and Identity Access Management.  Additional experience includes the balanced client side of marketing and sales in E&J Gallo Winery US Markets and General Foods / Joseph E. Seagram International markets.

Mr. Meléndez has a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of PR, Mayaguez. Other training / education include:
