Auditing a Business Recovery Plan

 

It is important, a good business practice, and required to have a Business Continuity Plan (BCP).  However, it is equally important to periodically review, audit, and report on the development, maintenance, and testing of the plan.  During this presentation, we will review the process of auditing the BCP.  We will discuss the following:

 

1.      Audit planning,

2.      Fact Finding and Understanding of the BCP,

3.      Analysis of the Reviewed Processes and Documentation,

4.      Testing of BCP controls, and

5.      Management Report and Presentation

President,  John R. Robles & Associates.

 

Mr. John R. Robles has been developing and auditing BCPs for many years.  He has performed these engagements at many financial, health care, and pharmaceutical companies.
