2004 - Isaca
Puerto Rico Board of Directors expresses its solidarity with
the chapter members from the Dominican Republic in their moment
of sorrow after the loss of lives and the destruction generated
by the floods of the week of May 23, 2004. Read
the Board's Letter of Condolences sent to our Dominican members
and a letter sent to the Isaca Puerto Rico members exhorting
them to cooperate with the relief efforts in the Dominican
Republic.

meeting. 20 members, 20 non-members, and 4 board members
attended.

- CISA Review continues with
30 persons enrolled, equally the record established in
2003.
March 31,
2004 -
Monthly meeting. 25 members, 13 non-members, and 6 board
members attended.
March 26,
2004 - John R.
Robles represented Isaca PR as speaker at a one-half day
seminar on Risks and Contingency Planning. Seminar was
given to 20 IT Auditors of the Controllers' Office of Puerto
Rico.
March 13,
2004 - 1st day of
2004 CISA Review Course! Twenty nine (29) students
register and show up for the first day of classes. Its
the highest number of students for a CISA Review after the
thirty (30) students that attended in 2003.
Congratulations to the 2004 CISA Review Committee for a
stupendous job!

Universidad Interamericana, Ponce. Board directors
Lourdes Ortiz and John R. Robles, along with Ponce member Lola
Vargas met with Prof. Morales to discuss relationships between
the two institutions and the establishment of an Isaca Student
chapter.
January 21,
2004 - The CISA/CISM Committee presented our
yearly CISA/ CISM Night. With this activity we kicked off
our CISA 2004 Review Course.
